Mix, match, and stack patterns freely to create monumental percussion ensembles.
Each pattern includes a single-stroke ending, allowing you to end or accentuate phrases dynamically at any point during the 4-bar loop.

The Low Winds ensemble (3 contrabassoons, 2 bassoons, 1 contrabass clarinet, 2 bass clarinets) provides deep, resonant foundations.
Performances include short and long notes, espressivo, swells, sforzatos, sforzatissimos, flutter tonguing, and more – available in unison, octaves, and clusters.
A crossfade patch lets you morph smoothly between unison and clustered sounds, opening up endless creative options for tension cues and dark textures.
The High Winds ensemble (1 piccolo, 3 flutes, 2 oboes, 4 clarinets) showcases the virtuosic brilliance of Vienna’s top players, performing dazzling runs and arpeggios with breathtaking precision.
Runs are available in major and minor keys, diatonic modes, chromatic and whole tone scales, while arpeggios cover major, minor, diminished, augmented, and seventh chords.
You can trigger ascending or descending patterns – or both simultaneously – to create evolving, shimmering motion.

Low Brass Clusters
Few sounds evoke cinematic tension quite like low brass clusters.
These half-tone dissonances, performed by the same ensemble of four bass trombones, one bass tuba, and one contrabass tuba, have become an essential part of contemporary film scoring – ideal for building suspense, accentuating climaxes, and underscoring moments of raw power.
Each patch includes the full articulation set of the Low Brass – except legatos – played as tight, three-note clusters (the played note, plus one semitone above and below).
Choose from short notes, marcatos, sfz and sffz attacks, crescendos and decrescendos, flutter tonguing, trills, glissandos, and fast repetitions, all available with extra fortississimo layers for the most dramatic and impactful results.

Recorded with up to six percussionists performing together on Stage A,
these ensembles capture the human energy and precision that bring orchestral rhythm to life with unmatched depth and authenticity.
The Percussion Ensembles feature a stunning variety of setups divided into two main groups – Skins and Metals.
The Skins category includes Monster Drums, Bass Drums, Thunder Toms, Special Drums, and a Snare Drum Ensemble.
The Metals category offers Suspended Cymbals, Super Crashes, Big Metal, and Small Metal.
By combining instruments from both categories, you can span the entire frequency spectrum and harness the exhilarating energy of up to twelve instruments sounding together.
All instruments were recorded simultaneously in three stage positions – left, center, and right – using an array of close, overhead, Decca Tree, surround, and high surround microphones.
This setup allows complete flexibility within the Synchron Player, letting you shape your mix from focused punch to cinematic spaciousness.

Pitched Percussion Ensembles
Expanding the sonic spectrum of the Big Bang Orchestra, the Pitched Percussion Ensembles explore the fascinating intersection of rhythm and harmony – a sound that’s both percussive and melodic.
These unique ensembles feature up to six musicians performing together, combining the power of three concert grands (Steinway D-274, Bösendorfer Imperial, and Yamaha CFX) with plate bells, tubular bells, vibraphone, gongs, timpani, taikos, and more.
The setups are divided into Low Range and High Range instruments.
The Low Range ensembles offer deep, resonant combinations,
such as pianos, plate bells, tubular bells, pitched gongs, timpani, and bass drums,
while the High Range setups add brilliance and shimmer with plate bells, tubular bells, vibraphone, suspended cymbals, gongs, and triangle.
Each configuration was meticulously designed to cover the full frequency range, from mysterious low textures to radiant high accents.

Children’s Choir
The Children’s Choir recordings feature the internationally acclaimed Gumpoldskirchner Spatzen, one of Austria’s most celebrated youth choirs with over 70 years of history.
Having performed with luminaries such as Leonard Bernstein, Sir Georg Solti, Claudio Abbado, Diana Ross, Michael Bolton, Charles Aznavour and appearing on film scores including Lego Batman, Made in Abyss 3, and Christmas Chronicles, these young voices bring both joy and professionalism to every performance.
