...Soundiron Verve revives the vintage analog sounds of the quirky Jen Brio 61-CS. This Italian combo organ was brought to market by Jen in the early 1960s.
It featured a 61-key keyboard and drum/rhythm machine with built-in speaker, as well as a variety of knobs, buttons and faders to control layer volume, instrument type, accompaniment, and tempo.
While it was most popular for cheesy string ensemble vibrato tones, it also had synth Trombone, Trumpet, Clarinet, Oboe, Tibia, Piano, and Harpsichord presets.

The Resonance of Early Electronic Music
Gong Amp takes an exciting experimental amplifier from the beginnings of electronic music to the plugin world of today.
In 1932, Maurice Martenot was looking for a way to make his groundbreaking proto-synthesizer “Ondes” audible beyond what could be archived with the horns and loudspeakers of the time.
He developed a set of “diffuseurs”, of which the “Métallique” was one.
Instead of a paper cone or horn, Martenot put a gong behind the amplifier circuitry.
This seemingly simple idea resulted in resonances and brilliant overtones that excite audiences to this day.
When renowned composer, orchestrator and conductor Conrad Pope stepped onto Stage A of Synchron Stage Vienna before it re-opened its doors back in 2015,
he happily exclaimed that this was finally a scoring stage big and especially high enough for the piccolo to sound as great as it should.
As it turned out in the following years, not only was he right,
but all the instruments and ensembles benefit immensely from the outstanding acoustics of this hall,
making the sound of Synchron Stage a landmark in film scoring.
