Load TONIC onto any audio track in your DAW and the plugin will apply its music theory AI
and detect up to three possible keys, each presented with a probability rating.

Use the Keyboard View to try out the notes and chords in the scale and verify the fit.
Once you know the key and its associated notes and chords, playing or programming to match the audio is a breeze.

There is also an offline mode where TONIC will present the key of audio files before you load them into a sampler.

ABOUT THE TONIC BETA TEST

The TONIC plugin can be downloaded from the links, below, and requires no activation during the beta test period.
Instead, the plugin operates freely until a specific date.
New versions of the plugin will be made available here before the previous version expires,
thus providing some “overlap” so you to compare the latest version against the previous version if necessary.

Please test the plugin within as many host applications as you can,
and also be sure to try the offline audio file analysis in addition to the realtime mode.

As part of the beta test, we would appreciate it if you can also read through the manual and let us know if anything is unclear,
if there are typos, broken links, or areas that could use more explanation or examples.

THE BETA FORUM
If you find any issues with TONIC or its User Manual,
you can file the issues you discover in the Beta Forum which can be accessed via the link, below.
You will need to create an account in the beta forum (it is a separate system that does not reuse your zplane User Account)
and can then post bug reports, feature requests, or general discussion topics.
You can also review reports from others and provide feedback on their ideas.

Be sure to join because only people signed up on the Beta Forum will be eligible to win one of the 10 free TONIC licenses at the end of the beta test!
